The aim of the programme is to provide graduates with relevant knowledge and competencies needed to make constructive and effective contribution in their professional career path in real estate agency and brokerage.

 

Objectives Of The Programme


The objectives of the programme are to:

 

  1. Equip students with specialist knowledge about the sale, purchase and renting of different types of properties.

  2. Train students to understand the role of real estate agency and brokerage in supporting the establishment and expansion of organisations

  3. Equip students with the requisite skills, knowledge and understanding of the key concepts and frameworks underpinning the study of real estate agency and brokerage

  4. Provide students with the skills to undertake consultancy services and market research in real estate agency and brokerage

  5. Train students to acquire and develop ethical, hands-on and entrepreneurial skills needed for independent and professional practice in real estate agency and brokerage

  6. Expose students to new digital tools and strategies in real estate agency and brokerage

 

 

 

Admission Requirements


Diploma in Real Estate Agency and Brokerage

 

A. SSSCE Candidates

 

SSCE applicants must have Credit Passes (A-D) in Six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus any three (3) elective subjects

 

B. WASSCE Candidates

 

WASSCE applicants must have Passes (A1-D7) in Six subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus any three (3) elective subjects

 

C. General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Candidates

 

GCE “O” and “A” level holders with Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject (for science students).

 

D. Mature Applicants

 

  1. Must be at least 25 years old and show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth which is at least five years old at the time of application.

  2. Pass written aptitude test (English Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge).

 

F. Foreign Applicants

All foreign applicants shall be referred to GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalences and eligibility for admission towards appropriate placement.
