The programme aims at providing its graduates with the required theoretical knowledge and practical training needed for a middle-level career path in estate management. Specifically, the programme equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to:

  • Analyse and interpret the property market in the physical, legal, and socio-economic context in which it operates.
  • Collect and assess data for appraisal of land and buildings and their management.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of land policies and management.
  • To provide middle level manpower support for the real estate industry in areas pertaining to brokerage, construction, appraisal, and management.

Admission Entry Requirements

  • SSCE Candidates: Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects; English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies, plus any three (3) elective subjects (preference will be given to applicants with Economics, Geography or Mathematics).
     
  • WASSSCE Candidates: passes (A1-D7) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects; English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies plus a minimum of (C6) in any three (3) elective subjects (preference will be given to applicants with Economics, Geography or Mathematics).
     
  • G.C.E. Ordinary Level: Five (5) passes including English, Mathematics and three (3) Advanced level passes (preference will be given to applicants with Economics, Geography or Mathematics).
     
  • CTC Candidates: Four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE credit passes including English Language and Mathematics plus all passes in CTC II.
     
  • Mature ApplicantsMust be 25 years old with legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application.
  1. Must have two (2) years professional experience (A letter from employer is required)
  2. Must pass a written examination or show proof of two (2) credit passes in English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE or any other nationally recognized standard high school level examinations
